The opening spell was all Milton - hitting the woodwork twice and forcing a brilliant close-range save from Zaac as tension filled the air. But this Lions team had other ideas...

Against the run of play, Bobby G produced a moment of magic with a stunning long-range strike on the 30-minute mark. The momentum shifted, and Bobby G nearly doubled our lead, rattling the crossbar with an audacious effort. Minutes later, Henry met Bobby S’s corner with a perfect finish into the bottom corner, sending players and supporters into wild celebrations! 2-0 at half-time!

The second half was a defensive masterclass. Bodies on the line, fighting for every ball, standing strong as Milton threw everything at us. Despite their late goal setting up a nerve-wracking finish, our Lions held firm. When the final whistle blew, the celebrations told the story of a monumental victory - ending Milton’s unbeaten season!
